Painter and decorator wanted in Pepin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Pepin County, Wisconsin. The job is on a residential building site. The role involves: • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
