Immediate opening: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Cherokee County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape You should have: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
