Concrete labourer • Alexander County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
