Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Grundy County, Iowa. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing Meals and transport allowance provided.
