Digger driver wanted in Borough of Rochdale

Vacancy available: we are hiring a digger driver in Borough of Rochdale, England. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances The role involves load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble.
