What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
