Scaffolding charge hand — Nance County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Nance County, Nebraska. Day to day you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours.
