Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Logan County, North Dakota. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
