Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Fife, Scotland. You will work at a busy building site. Day to day you will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Willing to travel between sites • Working-at-height certificate an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
