Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Allen County, Kentucky. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
