Safety officer wanted in Solano County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Solano County, California. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Six days a week, one day off.
