Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor screeder in Sullivan County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
