Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Live Oak County, Texas. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
