Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Adair County, Oklahoma. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On a typical shift you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; score the top of loaves before baking; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
