Day-to-day duties: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish 2+ years on the tools preferred.
