Vacancy available: commercial refrigeration engineer (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Requirements: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day-to-day duties: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
