Concrete placer wanted in Maiduguri

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Maiduguri, Borno State. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
