Glass and glazing technician — Saint Johns County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Saint Johns County, Florida. You will work at a busy glazing workshop. What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Day-to-day duties: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Install toughened and laminated safety glass At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
