Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Chatham County, Georgia. The job is on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
