GTAW welder wanted in Redwood County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Redwood County, Minnesota. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
