Immediate opening: incoming goods inspector (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in City of Emporia, Virginia. The job is in an automotive parts factory. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Willing to work rotating and night shifts On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
