Great opportunity: formwork carpenter (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Barber County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
