Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Poinsett County, Arkansas. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Rotating shifts.
