Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Chippewa County, Michigan. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. The role involves knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare the mise en place before each service; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. Ideal candidate: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
