Now hiring: HSE officer (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE officer in Henry County, Alabama. Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
