Security guard — Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

Now hiring: we are hiring a security guard in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a hotel entrance. You should have: • Height and weight as per security norms • 1-2 years experience as a security guard On a typical shift you will operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
