Marble fitter — Iron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Iron County, Michigan. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. Day to day you will lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Own hand tools an advantage • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
