Aluminium and glass installer — Talbot County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Talbot County, Georgia. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. On a typical shift you will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; install toughened and laminated safety glass; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. Requirements: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
