Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Washington County, Vermont. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
