We are recruiting: argon welder (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Boulder County, Colorado. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
