Immediate opening: gas pipe fitter (Louisiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
