Stainless steel welder — Makurdi Local Government Area

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Makurdi Local Government Area, Benue State. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer ₦230,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
