Now hiring: GTAW welder (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Polk County, Georgia. The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Meals and transport allowance provided.
