Garment machinist wanted in Bandera County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Bandera County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
