Shuttering charge hand — Cape May County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Cape May County, New Jersey. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. On the job you will handle: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
