Excavator operator • Calhoun County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an excavator operator in Calhoun County, Iowa. The job is in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; check for underground cables and services before digging; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
