Cold room technician — Hopkins County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold room technician in Hopkins County, Kentucky. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; service split AC units and VRF systems; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil. $8,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
