Rebar installer • Cardiff, Wales

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar installer in Cardiff, Wales. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
