Scaffolding labourer — City of Virginia Beach

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner You should have: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
