Vacancy available: gas meter installer (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Delaware County, Iowa. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. You will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
