Safety officer — Mariga

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Mariga, Niger State. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦75,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
