You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Rotating shifts.
