Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Cortland County, New York. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Rotating shifts. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
