Immediate opening: GMAW welder (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Nash County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
