Elevator technician • Roanoke County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Roanoke County, Virginia. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
