Aluminium tig welder wanted in Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Full-time, day shift.
