Elevator repair technician wanted in County Durham

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in County Durham, England. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
