Gas meter installer — Motley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Motley County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time, day shift.
