Stainless steel welder • Jefferson County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Indiana. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
