Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Bullock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Bullock County, Alabama. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
